No Show/Late Cancellation Petition

Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) is funded in part by student fees with the expectation that student fees will be used responsibly. When a student fails to keep an appointment or cancels at the last minute, professional time goes unused and other UNM students fail to get timely service.

If you need to cancel an appointment, call Student Health and Counseling by 3:00 pm the day prior to your appointment. A $20 No-Show Fee for missed in-person and telehealth appointments will be assessed to your student account if you fail to cancel your appointment by 3:00 PM the previous business day before your appointment.

If we have made an error in scheduling you or you believe you deserve special consideration for a “no-show” or “late cancellation” fee, please complete the following information. Your request will be reviewed and we will mail you the decision.
