Condom-Mint Celebration - Highlights

The SHAC Condom-Mint Program is an expanded condom distribution initiative for UNM students. Condoms and mints are available at no charge at 16 Main Campus locations.
SHAC held its 8th Annual Celebration of this program on April 16, 2019 outside SHAC from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students enjoyed free paletas from Pop Fizz, prizes, resources and more.
The SHAC Health Promotion Department was able to:
- Educate 600+ students on STIs, contraception, and safe sex behaviors
- Hand out 500 safer sex packets and paletas
- Increase its social media presence by more than 300 students
- Collaborate with four other UNM Resource Centers (LoboRESPECT, Women's Resource Center, LGBTQ Resource Center, Truman Health Services)
- Market with University Communication and Marketing, Daily Lobo, and Kiss 97.3FM
