Hair loss is normal for men and women for various reasons (e.g., medical conditions, nutrition, medications).

Eat a diet rich in protein. Supplements can help keep and grow hair.

Go herbal. Ginseng may help promote hair growth (consult your doctor). Avoid harsh shampoos that strip hair of good oils.

Coconut oil combats breakage by helping bind protein in hair. Use olive oil as deep-conditioning treatment to combat dryness.

Essential oils (lavender and rosemary) can help combat hair loss due to alopecia. Reduce stress with yoga or meditation.

Make alliums your ally. Onion juice may encourage regrowth (apply twice daily). Massaging your scalp may improve hair growth.
