Kathryn Williams, MD
Dr. Williams attended Yale University, where she received a B.S. in Biology. After graduation, she traveled to New Mexico for a year for the State Environmental Protection Agency investigating the sources of lead poisoning in children.
She received her MD at the University of New Mexico Medical School and also earned membership in AOA, the national medical honor society. After completing a residency in Family Practice at UNM, she became board certified in family practice. Following two years at the Albuquerque Indian Hospital, she came to SHAC where she has practiced since 1983.
She is particularly interested in patient education, preventative health care, women's health, and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
