Other Health Insurance
Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) can bill many insurance plans; call 277-3136 to see if we can bill for your insurance plan.
For our records, we will ask you for your insurance coverage. It’s also beneficial for us to have a copy of your insurance card for your patient records.
Currently, we can submit medical insurance claims (and claims for Counseling Services) for the Student Health Insurance plans. We can also submit medical insurance claims to the following commerical insurance plans:
Other insurance: Students will need to file their own insurance. SHAC will provide an itemized bill. Students are responsible for contacting their insurance carrier for information on filing insurance claims and to receive claim forms.
The patient is responsible for the designated balance that the insurance carrier does not cover.
