Student Health Insurance

Undergraduate Students

Please be advised that the University of New Mexico Student Health Insurance Program is not offered on a voluntary basis. It was determined that UNM students could get a less expensive policy with tax subsidies on the Health Insurance Exchange or through Centennial / Medicaid, than with the cost of a voluntary policy.

Need assistance? SHAC can help guide you! For information, see Affordable Care Act & Medicaid.

For information about 2017-2018 Student Health Insurance, visit the UNM Human Resources website.
